BIG WARNING: JUST SO YOU KNOW. I wrote this when I was like 12-13 years old DURING the summer. I'll edit the chapters a BIT, but don't expect perfection. Another thing is I'm not changing any of the names I use in this. Anyway here's the first Chapter:
Chapter 1: Nexus Force.
Hi my name is Diana,
and I live in Nexus City with my parents and my sister Sarah. I’ve been having
the same dream about joining the nexus force for about a week now and I know it
has to mean something. Will I ever find out? Nope, See my parents… (Uhh.. the
right word would be)Disapprove of the nexus force. In their opinion the force
is just a bunch of kids running around fighting purple things.... I think the nexus force is cool. Though, I’m
only aloud to read the paper...
So here I am now. Sitting on my bed
reading the nexus newspaper. I ran my hand through my curly brown hair. My
sister ran up and down the halls. I watch the doorway as she ran back and
forwards. Her red hair flying. I rolled my eyes and looked back at the paper.
My mom came into my room and looked at me.
" Reading the paper again? Its
bed time," my mom sighed.
" Yea yea I know," I said and got under
the coves and turned over," night." my mother sighed again, turned out the
light and closed the door. I fell asleep fast.
I was in
the middle of the part in my dream where the ship crash when I awoke. I looked
at the clock it said "1:00" "one a-clock???" I sighed.
There was a knock on the door. I jumped up from my bed and walked down stairs. I
looked out the peek hole in the door to see a smiling face. I opened the door
to find a boy. He had light blue hair and Paradox gear on (well.. only the
pants and shirt)... a Nexus force guy? He was rank 3 in space murderer gear... I
looked back up at his face.
"Hello! And sorry to wake ya… Mind if I come
in and crash on the couch?" he asked though he had a teasing smile on his
face. Part of me said, "close the door in his face. " the other part
of me said, " let him in." I let him in.
" you can’t make any
noise and you must be in the closet by five. " I whispered.
"
Why..?" he asked.
" Because my parents don’t like the nexus force!
They will call the cops if they see you!" I answered. I sat down in a
chair and he sat on the couch.
" I’m 7op, by the way" he said.
"
Nice to meet you. I’m Diana." I said. I started asking him all these
questions about the nexus force and he answered every single one! He was in the
middle of telling me a story about the time he fought an ape called Roo Morg,
when we heard a loud crash. 7op was up and had his guns and shoulder pads
equipped.
" Stay back." he said. I watch as the door broke open and a
maelstrom spiderling ran in. I screamed and 7op shot at it. Soon the
spirderling smashed, but it wasn’t the last.
" Go and get your family and
get OUT of the house. NOW!”7op command. I nodded and ran down the hall. I dashed right into my parents’ room.
" MOM! DAD! WAKE UP! There is maelstrom in
the house! We have to get out!!!" I squeaked. My parents sat up and rubbed
their eyes. " Wha??" my father mumbled. 7op walked in the room with
my sister who was bouncing around him.
" Sorry. But uuh.. We got to get
out of here!" my parents got out of bed and followed 7op out of the side
of the house. (he had to blast a hole in the wall cause the maelstrom was all
over the living room.) my parents and sister ran one way. 7op and I ran the
other.
" Stay here,” he said hiding me. I peeked over to see the maelstrom
had stopped to get me. "7OP!!!!!" I screamed.
" Oh man!!"
he sighed, ran back, and grabbed me onto his back before starting to run again.
" Gah! You are heavy!" he mumbled.
" Just run!' I cried. 7op pulled out a walkytalky. " Calling
in back up, please, in nimbus city." he spoke into it.
" Got it 7op.
First hanger please" a voice answered back. The maelstrom followed us like
it was water. It splashed against the walls and smashed right through
cars. We turned into a space ship hanger
mark 1. A drop ship sat waiting for us. We dived in (sending me into the back
wall) the door to the ship closed and we took off. 7op looked around the ship and frowned. He walked into the cockpit.
" Lenny! Where is back
up??" 7op asked the only other minifig in the ship.
"Isn’t one man back up enough?" The minifig asked.
" No" 7op said with a smirk.
" boys.." I
mumbled.
" Who's the girl and why were the maelstrom chasing her?"
Lenny asked.
" Her name is Diana. And I don't know why the maelstrom wants
her..." 7op answered. I sighed and turned over on the hard metal floor of
the drop ship.
" LENNYTHE1ST!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH A DROP
SHIP????!!!" a voice yowled through the radio.
" Uuh.. Helping
7op.." Lenny mumbled. I didn't hear the reply cause I fell fast asleep.
